Abstract
This paper examines the dynamics of land use changes in Kitendeni wildlife corridor and their impacts on biodiversity. Data on land use/cover changes were obtained through interpretation of aerial photographs for 1952 and 1982 and satellite imagery for 2000. The field survey was conducted on the Tanzanian side of the corridor in Lerangw'a, Kitendeni, Irkaswa and Kamwanga villages, which border the corridor.
