dc.description.abstractA study on phase-1 time use in Tanzania was carried out by the Department of Statistics between January and February 2005. The phase-2 study was conducted between March and August 2005. The questionnaire method was employed in collecting data for the phase-1 study and data for the phase-2 study was collected by the diary method. In both phases, youths including teenage girls and boys were among people from whom data was collected. This paper is concerned with analysing data on teenagers from the phase-1 studyen_US
