dc.description.abstractA survey on mutilation of journals was carried out in 1989 at the University of Dar es Salaam Library. This paper highlights the findings of the survey including factors which have led to the mutilations. The paper also suggests comprehensive measures to be taken in order to remedy the situation.en_US
