This study examines on how management practices can influence the implementation of occupational health and safety at workplace. Structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used to analysis data collected from 297 small scale mining firms, test models and verify all hypotheses on direct effect of management practices on occupational health and safety. Also twelve interviewees were interviewed to provide the incorporated qualitative findings. The results demonstrate that Safety training (ST) and Employees communication (EC) has positive influence on the implementation of organization safety support (OSS) and proactive hazard control (PHC).
