In order to succeed, esecurity requires technical, organizational, and institutional support, as well as user awareness. In this pilot study, we used thematic interviews and closed-ended questionnaires to examine students’ attitudes towards issues of information security in a middle-sized Tanzanian university. The results suggest lax attitudes towards security issues, and give impetus to actions and further research on the topic.enJournal Article, Peer Reviewed
